Date: 16.4.
Activity:
- reduced maximum health to 3 to incentivize actually avoiding the fireballs
- reduced speed at which the cube is pushed to force the player to hide from fireballs
- inecerased the lenght of spike pits to make jumping over them a bit more challenging
- prolonged the jump over the bullets corridor
- replaced personally made firefalls for modified player bullets, as those are more reliable at detecting hits
- added some minor visual flair such as a background wall
Notes:
While the original level wasn't designed to be extra difficult, it turned up it was too easy, as most feedback was about the low dificulty and lack of challange. The changes made aim to rectify that, mainly to actually motivate player to avoid the bullet, as most players just run through them, not worrying about them due to their large health pool.
The amount of healing player recieves is still the same, but due to reduced health, player can't take it all with them.
